The Vocal Rooms Terms and Conditions

This website is owned and operated by the Vocal Rooms, a partnership registered in England, whose address is 10 Grafton Crescent, Kentish Town, London, NW1 8SL. The Vocal Rooms is a trade mark owned by The Vocal Rooms.

Before you arrive at The Vocal Rooms, please take the time to read our terms and conditions.

Booking and Room Usage

a. We recommend that advance bookings are made to avoid disappointment, and that you book for a minimum of 2 hours to ensure that you get the full Vocal Rooms experience.

b. A payment will be taken for advance bookings to reserve a room. If you fail to arrive for your booking, don’t make use of all your allocated room(s), or fail to cancel your booking at least 24 hours before the booking takes place, we cannot refund this payment. On-line cancellations are complete once you have received a cancellation confirmation email from us.

c. Changes to your booking can only be made online or through the venue at least 24 hours before your slot starts. After this period if you want to change the time or room size you can speak to the venue to see if they can accommodate you. The venue cannot, however, guarantee to find space for you and you may have to cancel your booking.

d. On the night one person in your party will need to leave their debit or credit card at reception as a guarantee. The full room bill will need to be settled before this is returned.

e. Please arrive for your session 15 minutes before it is due to start. This will ensure you receive your full singing time.

f. Should you require disabled access please let us know before you make a booking.

Room Usage

g. Any damage in the rooms will be the responsibility of you and your guests. These damages charges must be paid on the night. Charges for the main items as follows: Per Radio Mic £200, Non Radio Mic £100, LCD TV £400, Webcam £100, Per Speaker £150, Touch Screen £400, Ripping/Damaging seating £100.

h. Unfortunately, we are legally only allowed a certain number of people within each room. Should more people arrive than permitted, they will be allowed to wait in the bar.

i. We may, from time to time, be required to search your bags on the premises.

j. You are not allowed to consume your own food and drink on the premises.

k. All rooms are fitted with CCTV.

Video Policy

l. If you or any member of your party chooses to use the video upload facility in the rooms you do so at your own risk and have agreed to your videos appearing on our website for public viewing. You agree that any rights you may own in your performance are fully assigned to us and The Vocal Rooms can use the footage on the website as we choose. To the extent that any rights are non-assignable, a royalty-free license will be granted to The Vocal Rooms in accordance with the Booking and Room Usage Terms and Conditions. You will have no claim for any losses arising as a result of the publication of such footage on our website or by any other means. Should you later decide you do not want the video to be uploaded onto the website please speak to your fluffer on the night or email hello@thevocalrooms.com. Any subsequent request by you for the removal of footage from our website should be made by email to hello@thevocalrooms.com.
