There are new Karaoke bars opening up all the time. It really is a trend that’s sweeping the nation. Our favourite is Lucky Voice, founded by Martha Lane Fox of LastMinute.com. They currently have locations in Lucky Voice Manchester, Lucky Voice Soho, Lucky Voice Islington and Lucky Voice Cardiff. Their sites in Manchester and Cardiff are based in Tiger Tiger, so you may need to search for Lucky Voice Tiger Tiger Manchester or Cardiff to find them. Other private karaoke bars include Karaoke Box Frith Street, Karaoke Box Farringdon, K-Box Leicester Square, Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes (who have 3 excellent private karaoke rooms) and bowling thrown into the mix. Leeds, Norwich, Brighton and Bristol all now have their own local private karaoke operators. If your town hasn’t got karaoke yet, we hope that very very soon The Vocal Rooms will have landed in a bar near you. Until then, you’ll just have to keep practising with Singstar from the comfort of your own sofa!
